This week WilliamPaid honors FIVE ROOMMATES on our “Roommates Who Rock” Wall of Fame. Their names? Keaton Davis, Kevin Adams, Jen Cady, Martin Rosa, and Tina Quach. Why these five individuals and what did they do to deserve to be honored?
These five roommate heroes are winners or finalists in the Apartments.com recent “Roommate of the Year” contest (announced this week). Keaton Davis of Hockessin, DE was selected Apartment.com’s “Roommate of the Year.” Davis, a sophomore at Trinity University in San Antonio, TX, cooks, cleans, pays the bills and more — all while keeping perfect 4/4 time in the video he submitted as his contest entry. Other contest finalists included: Kevin Adams of Columbus, OH, Jen Cady of Los Angeles, Martin Rosa of Canal Winchester, OH, and Tina Quach of Berkeley, CA.
So. What qualifies someone as “Roommate of the Year?” Hopefully more than catchy, original rap with creative visuals and special entertaining effects.
Good roommates communicate, compromise, establish rules, clean up after themselves, make sure their roommate feels comfortable, keep realistic expectations, and protect their roommates secrets (take THAT @shhdontellsteve!). At WilliamPaid, we hope Apartment.com’s Roommate of the Year award winners fit that bill. If so, we honor them for their exemplary behavior. Being a good roommate isn’t easy.
