Every Friday WilliamPaid takes the time to honor roommates who have gone above and beyond the call of duty. This week we honor two people on our “Roommates Who Rock” Wall of Fame: Randy Tribble and Rick Jones.
Randy Tribble and Rick Jones were once college roommates, and now coach football for opposing high school teams. Coach Jones considers his former college roommate not only a good friend, but also a brother. Still good pals to this day, Coach Tribble fondly remembers waking up to his roommate’s snoring. Although the pair go head-to-head when it comes to their home teams, both respect one another for their football coaching achievements. The former roommates turned rival football coaches have shared good days and dark hours and are all the better for it.
What makes a roommate relationship stand the test of time? Communication, compromise, understanding, respect, and a willingness to work through frustrating situations (like snoring). We wish both Coach Tribble and Coach Jones a great football season.
Do you have a roommate who rocks? Maybe he or she stood by you when you needed it most? Were they there for you during your darkest hour? Tell us about your roommate! Send your nominations to: [email protected]. All featured roommates will be profiled on a Roommates Who Rock Wall here on WilliamPaid’s blog — and receive a very snazzy “Bill Paid It” T-shirt, compliments of WilliamPaid.
