As part of our monthly sweepstakes, we offer additional entries for those of you who answer our Question of the Day. Sometimes the QOD (as we lovingly refer to it) relates to our website, sometimes it asks a question about credit and, other times, we ask you a survey question. Regardless of the type of question, we appreciate your responses - they help guide us as we consider adding different services and tools as well as help ensure that we are providing information that you need and want.
One class of QODs, though, are particularly interesting. In addition to being helpful, the survey questions produce fascinating results (you should see the analytics guy - he is downright giddy when the results are in). We thought you might be interested in some of the results, too.
In brief, you guys overwhelmingly like your landlords (way to go, landlords), don’t buy renter’s insurance (reconsider this one, folks), pay between 20-35% of your income on your rent each month and are just about evenly split on having checked your credit in the past twelve months.
Most surprising, though, is that a whooping 72% of you still pay your rent the old-fashioned way - by check. We’re guessing that this is because your landlords don’t take another form of payment such as electronic transfer or credit card. That is, until WilliamPaid. With WilliamPaid, you can pay your rent YOUR way without being limited by the one method of payment your landlord takes - checks. Set your rent up for automatic payment every month and never have to write a check again.
In case you are keeping score at home, here are some interesting findings:
What percentage of your monthly income do you spend on rent?

Thanks again for your responses. Good luck in our Sweepstakes.
