Paige Wiser, Chicago Sun Times writer, admits that she learned everything she needed to know about roommates just by watching television. With good reason, since most of our favorite shows are filled with all the do’s and don’ts of living with roommates. The entire cast of “Friends” swapped roommates, moved apartments, and played games with one another. “Three’s Company” replaced roommates what seemed like every season. “Seinfeld” didn’t have any roommates, but it sure felt that way since Kramer, Elaine and George always dropped by unannounced. So, the Team at William Paid are curious - out of all of these roommates, who deserves a place on the “Roommates Who Rock” Wall of Fame?
After careful consideration and thought-provoking debate, the final decision had been made. William Paid would like to honor Chandler Bing. Known for being the funny guy, he is also known for being a great roommate to Joey Tribbiani. Chandler and Joey have a great relationship evident by the late night foosball games and funny antics. When Chandler is not working he is supporting his good pal, Joey, by paying for acting classes, buying groceries, or watching many of Joey’s off-broadway shows. Even during the tough times, Chandler and Joey always work through their problems by communicating openly and offering a helping hand.
Congratulations, Chandler Bing! You just made it on the “Roommates Who Rock” Wall of Fame.
Do you have a roommate who rocks? Maybe he or she stood by you when you needed it most? Maybe they even brought you ice cream to get you through the day? Tell us about your roommate! Send your nominations to: [email protected]. All featured roommates will be profiled on a Roommates Who Rock Wall here on William Paid’s blog — and receive a very snazzy “Bill Paid It” T-shirt, compliments of William Paid.
